HIPAA/Privacy Update

We are pleased to announce our speaker for this session:

• Kristin Ahmadian, Esq.

Keeping your head (and PHI) out of the Clouds: Data Mapping, Device Encryption Requirements, and the Dangers of Everyday Technology

This session will discuss the importance of data management and security in light of device dependence, the integration with healthcare operations, and HIPAA regulations.

Ms. Ahmadian is a Partner with the law firm of Lowis & Gellen LLP in Chicago, Illinois. She practices in both the Medical Malpractice Defense Litigation Group, as well as the Corporate Governance & Compliance Group at the firm, combining her knowledge of the two to handle issues such as HIPAA Compliance, Data Privacy, and Cybersecurity.  Lowis & Gellen is an international firm with offices in Illinois, Arizona, Florida, and London, providing both litigation and corporate consulting services for individuals and corporations on domestic and cross-border transactions.
