Webinar #3 - 2010-2011 CHRMS Lecture Series - “What are the Risks of ACOs and What Can Risk Managers Do About It?”
As part of CHRMS' mission to provide the membership with topical risk management-related information, the third of the webinar lecture series for 2010 -2011 will be presented on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

We are pleased to announce that our speakers for this session are:
- Fay A. Rozovsky, JD, MPH, DFASHRM, an experienced healthcare risk management consultant and attorney
- Susan Angelo, Senior Vice President and Managed Care Division Leader at OneBeacon Professional Insurance.
Ms. Rozovsky is President of The Rozovsky Group, Inc. An experienced healthcare risk management consultant and attorney, Ms. Rozovsky works with clients along the continuum of care, providing healthcare professionals, organizations and leadership with practical risk management and patient safety solutions.
Ms. Rozovsky has lectured extensively and authored or co-authored over five hundred articles and several books including Consent to Treatment: A Practical Guide, Fourth Edition, The Handbook of Patient Safety Compliance (with Dr. James R. Woods), Health Care Organizations Risk Management: Forms, Checklists & Guidelines, Third Edition( with Jane Conley) and Health Care Credentialing: A Guide to Innovative Practices (with Mark A. Kadzielski and Christina W. Giles). Fay is the author of two chapters in the Enterprise Risk Management Handbook for Healthcare Entities, published by AHLA in 2009 and a chapter on consent as a loss control tool in ASHRM's Risk Management Handbook for Health Care Organizations.
A summa cum laude graduate of Providence College, Ms. Rozovsky received her J.D. from Boston College Law School and an M.P.H. from the Harvard School of Public Health. Ms. Rozovsky is admitted to the practice of law in Florida and Massachusetts.
Fay is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management and a Past President of the Society. In 1998, Fay was awarded the Distinguished Service Award. She is a faculty member in the ASHRM Barton Certificate Program in Healthcare Risk Management. In May, 2008, Ms. Rozovsky received an honorary doctor of public health degree from Providence College for her contributions to the fields of risk management, health law, and patient safety.
Susan Angelo is responsible for OneBeacon's Managed Care E&O and D&O business. She has over 25 years in the insurance business and comes to OneBeacon having close to 19 years as the Vice President and Product Line Manager for AIG Health Care's managed care portfolio. Susan is a frequent lecturer on managed care liability topics for organizations such as ASHRM, PLUS and PLUS Medical. She will serve as co-chair at the 2011 PLUS Medical PL Symposium.
Objectives include:
• Define ACOs and the state of flux of the proposed rule
• Understand the implications of ACOs on related issues such as credentialing, patient consents, cyber risks, legal and regulatory requirements, insurance, risk exposures, and the standard of care
• Identify methodology for evaluating risks associated with ACOs
• Determine strategies for addressing ACOs

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:
This program has been approved for 1.0 contact hour of ASHRM Continuing Education credit. Approval for MCLE credit is pending. Unfortunately, nursing continuing education credit will not be available for this program.
