THE PAPERLESSS CULTURE HAS DRIVEN THE ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORD TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL. IN ADDITION, THE MISUSE OF SOCIAL MEDIA IN THE HEALTHCARE SETTING HAS OFTEN BREACHED PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY. WHEN IT COMES TO ELECTRONIC APPLICATIONS IN THE HEALTHCARE SETTING, OUR PROGRAM HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING:

• LEGAL ISSUES
• SOCIAL MEDIA, INCLUDING A PANEL OF RISK MANAGERS
• ETHICAL ISSUES
• CYBER LIABILITY COVERAGE

OUR MEETING WILL BEGIN WITH BREAKFAST/REGISTRATION FROM 8:00-8:30 A.M.

ANNUAL MEETING AND PROGRAM 8:30-4:00 P.M. 

NETWORKING HOUR 4:00-5:00 P.M.

CHRMS Members - $ 75.00

Guests / Non- Members - $100.00

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations are accepted when received in writing prior to April 26, 2011. Please submit your request to the Program Committee [email protected]. Any cancellation received after the 26th will not be refunded and payment is expected.

PROGRAM HANDOUTS:

Available handouts will be sent to registrants via e-mail prior to the meeting. Please print out available handouts and bring them with you since they will not be distributed at the meeting.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:

ASHRM Continuing Education Credit and MCLE credits are pending approval.
